Sabotage!

Ok, friends... it all started a couple weeks ago on my birthday weekend. I never got a chance to blog about it, because it was so full of fun! But, that was the start of the downfall of any hopes of winning the MOPS biggest loser challenge. (Not that I ever really had a chance, but I definitely have a few pounds to lose!) This blog is all the evidence that points to the sabotage!

Let's start with the collage above! On Valentine's day, my husband and our close friends sent the ladies to the spa for the day, while they took the kids and fixed us a fancy dinner. Do you see that? Butterfly shrimp... seared ahi salad... crab cakes from scratch... and clam chowder! Oh, and there was more; chocolate cheesecake for dessert. I was sunk!

The day before, my sweetie threw me a huge surprise pary at the park. He ordered the cake from my favorite Asian bakery, and it was to die for. Do you see the size of that cake?!?! Seriously?!? I think it was bigger than our wedding cake! I had leftovers for WAY too many days!

He even got a cotton candy machine! (Everybody thought it was for the kids, but I know it was for me, as I love cotton candy!) The leftovers made for a good pretend torch for our preschool olympics!

More evidence here: That tray was filled with Godiva truffles just 2 weeks ago. Please don't count how many pieces I consumed... all by myself... (And, I had a second box, as well as some "Merci" chocolates from a friend. I had never heard of Merci chocolates before, but I think I am in love!) Today we used the tray to paint with our homemade glitter paints and I realized the sweets in our house were finally dwindling. All was well until...
... My husband showed up from work tonight with these! Have you heard of 85 degrees? It is the most INCREDIBLE Asian bakery, located in Irvine. Did I say it was incredible? And so, there it is... all the evidence you need to know I am being sabotaged! Of course, don't get me wrong... I am not complaining one bit! I have the sweetest husband in the world, and he can sabotage me all he wants. I just hope he knows that someday I won't be able to run these off anymore! I love you SWEETIE!

  2. Yes, I feel blessed!!! Next time you're in town, we'll have to cook for you! Daniel is AWESOME, and if you like seafood, he is especially awesome. I felt so bad that we couldn't do that for you when you were here... Next time, for sure!!
