Our theme for yesterday's preschool was "SH" day. The kids learned all about the "sh" sound, and did activities that revolved around it. Once again, for my "3 Sisters," here are the details:
- Bible verse: John 10:27 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
- Play “follow the shepherd” (like "follow the leader")
- Glue cotton balls and googly eyes onto a sheep
- Shaving cream activity
- Shoe relay race
- Shackle relay race
- Shapes worksheets (from the internet... tracing and naming shapes)
- Trace S and H
- “Shine” (Newsboys) hot potato
- "What am I?" I described several objects that began with "sh" and the kids had to guess what I was describing.
