Since we pulled out all our spring/ Easter decor, it only seemed fitting to get started on some Easter crafts. This first one was quite simple. I cut out a bunch of paper eggs, and drew-on simple designs with a black pen. The girls used homemade watercolors, (water and food coloring!) to color them in.
Next, we took some twine and dipped it in glue. All bunched up, it made a lovely nest for our eggs!
Finally, the eggs were glued behind the nest. The bird was my first experiment using my new Cricut machine from Christmas. I think I am in love -- what a cool machine! Can't wait to play more!
