My first-born turned 5, today! Happy birthday, Allison Hannah! I have LOTS of pictures to share with you, but I'll start with our morning. Every birthday, the girls get one present under their bed when they wake-up. This morning, Allison came to me with a sad face and said, "I only found a card - did you forget?" I implored her to look again, but alas there was no present. So, we opened the card...
Allison's nickname is "sticky fingers," as she has a tendency to hide things. Well, the card said that the real sticky fingers had been there and hid her present. Luckily, she left clues that sent Allison on a search for her "under the be present."
CLUE #1: The present you want isn't something old.
Now look in a place that keeps things cold.
CLUE #2:The present you seek is bigger than a chair.
Go look in the place you keep your underwear.
CLUE #3:The present you're after can move fast or slow.
Now the vacuum closet is the place to go.
CLUE #4:You're now getting closer to finding your gift.
Now head for a place that has a gear shift.
CLUE #5:Your five year old present has two things that are round.
In Mama and Papa's closet it can be found.
