Apples, part 5

Ok, this is my last apple post. I promise! For our last 2 apple activities, we made apple trees and apple playdough. For the trees, we traced their hands and arms for the trunk/ branches. The leaves were green thumbprints, and the apples were glued red dots.


The playdough was so easy, so fun, (and so messy -- but no more than regular playdough!) We had to be extra careful, as it smelled so good both the girls as well as the baby and the dog were tempted to eat it! Unfortunately, it contains glue... so no eating!

Apple playdough recipe:

• 1 cup cinnamon
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1/4 cup white glue

I told you it was easy! Hope you have some fun with apples... We'll see what next week holds!
